Warranty & Maintenance
: All equipment carries a manufacturer’s standard or extended warranty. With the majority of manufacturers, this means that if the equipment fails, it is the customer’s responsibility to return the item to base. On site engineering intervention is not generally covered by such warranties and therefore Carillion recommend to all customers that they take out an on-site maintenance contract for permanent installations where reliability of equipment and optimum performance are key.

Our standard maintenance cover includes:-
Diagnostic support. Customer to have a nominated person on site to be the contact for


remote diagnostics by telephone, ISDN, modem etc. – doesn’t have to be an AV or VC expert. Attendance on site within 8 working hours of completion of remote diagnostics. Spares supply included. Annual preventative maintenance check. Contract term - 3 years. Cancellable on 3 months notice after first year. Normal working hour cover 9-5/Mon-Fri. “Drop everything” emergency call-outs at extra cost.

Additionally, 24 hour swap out cover is available on critical items such as plasmas screens.
