Presentation facilities can be as basic as a screen and a projector, however it isn’t usually that easy actually.

Simple applications like these work perfectly well if they are appropriate to the need and whilst we do supply such straight forward applications, they don’t really reveal much of our expertise. They will, however, be properly installed with the correct cabling, quality connections, etc.

However, as soon as you start to ask more of your facilities like, for example:

• How easy will it be to use?
• How big does the screen need to be so that it can cater equally well for one person or twenty?
• What if I want to connect several laptops and switch between them?
• Could I integrate video conferencing into my boardroom system?
• How do I decide between front projection, rear projection, a plasma screen or a large monitor?
• Our presenters have microphones because the room is quite large,
but we get feedback whenever they walk close to a speaker, how can we avoid this?

The list can be endless and the questions vary from customer to customer and room to room. Carillion are experts in asking the questions, explaining the alternatives and producing a cost-effective, easy to use result for you. Needs may vary from a simple meeting/presentation room which works reliably and doesn’t need a technician every few days to help people connect their laptop, through to large boardrooms or auditoria with state of the art images, surround sound and automated controls.

Obviously we support and maintain all our own installations, but if you have an existing installation which does not work properly, we will be happy to advise you on bringing it up to speed and looking after it for you thereafter.
